Pigtails and Grandmothers…

Pigtails are kinda like a right of passage into girlhood. When Ruby’s hair finally fit into those thin lil’ nubby pigtails it was her first glimpse into all things girlie…and now….it has reached a whole new level….
The Doobs is now rockin’ the braids! Holy cow! I might as well just start packin’ her bags for college cuz womanhood seems right around the corner…geez! Anywho…the braid has a few functions….Numero uno: Cuteness. But there is another very important factor that is not always recognized…it really helps with the goop intake of the hair. Breakfast is a little less messy with the braid…
Another factor I think is overlooked is the pigtails can be rocked by all ages…(as shown here by Ruby’s Grandmother)
