My favorite picture from yesterday. Her 4:30 AM wake up had some mid day consequences ???? She begged for a “diaper baby” from Santa and has since cared for it like a real baby, even asking “grandma” (aka-me????) to babysit while she is “busy”.
The one big heartache I had for Ruby after she was was born with that magical little something extra was her not being able to experience motherhood, and a little selfish piece of my heart hurt for my own future as a grandmother. I see how much she loves BIG and I know now her place is to nurture the world and keep reminding us that we are all different, beautiful and unique in our own way and that life can sometimes be hard, but to always show up with your best self and a grateful heart. ❤️❤️ And to maybe not get up so ding dang early on Christmas morning ????
