2017 Rockin’ Recipient Kelly McCown caught our eye in her Ruby’s Rainbow scholarship application because she’s a runner, she loves working with children, and she’s hardworking and driven!! Her can-do attitude really jumped right off the page!! ???????????? Among other goals, she plans to learn to drive, live with a roommate and work with children as a teacher’s aide someday.

Toward that end, this fall she started her second year at Virginia Commonwealth University. She plans to graduate next year!! You go, Kelly!!! We’re so proud of you!! ❤️❤️❤️
