“It’s difficult to keep up! She was chosen to be the torch bearer at a fundraiser for Special Olympics and will start the festivities by ‘lighting the torch’ (symbolic – no fire). Also, she has been invited to be a runway model in an upcoming charity fundraiser in September, by a local organization – and yes, she is all about that. She has told us more than once “I was born to be on stage!” lol ”

Kelsi currently has a part-time job with the YMCA as a Wellness Attendant where she is in charge of welcoming, greeting (and socializing!) with members and visitors, also helping keep gym equipment organized and wiped down. She loves her job and has worked there for over a year and enjoys seeing familiar faces from her high school days. She has submitted an application and hopes to have a second part-time job in the near future at the new Starbucks in Ocean Springs. Next week, she will start volunteering one day a week at an elementary school assisting the teacher and teachers aide with centers, and one on one student assistance.

She misses the daily ‘busyness’ of campus life at Clemson, but she is glad to be at home on the coast with her family and friends. She lives a full, happy and VERY BUSY life making people smile as she goes!!

Keep on rockin’ it Kelsi! And if Starbucks knows what’s best for them, they will snatch you up and put you to work!!
