A Field Trip with Ruby Doobs

These two. I got to hang with them today on Ruby’s Field Trip to the kiddos museum, and I actually debated on going because historically I feel like I ruin her trips because she clings to me and wants me to do stuff for her. BUT NOT TODAY.

Today I watched her confidently cruise from station to station, trying new things, chatting with friends. I watched her get help and encouragement from classmates, all the while happy to do the same for others. I watched her raise her hand to answer questions (maybe not always the right answer, but always willing to give it a go ????) and watched her hug me goodbye and happily get back on the bus to head back to school. She grows stronger and more independent everyday…and I am so glad I have a front row seat to watch this lil lady be the best lil Ruby Doobs she can be.
