Another Great IEP Guru Article: 3 Rs for Breaking Down Grade-Level Standards into Realistic Goals

Since it’s back to school today after a long, fun weekend ☀️???? I figured I’d post another great IEP Guru article to get back in the swing of things: “R is for Realistic, Relevant, and Research-Based.”

This one’s about breaking down grade-level standards into realistic goals. That “R” happens to be the “R” in “SMART goals” – you know, goals that are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely – except IEP Guru has broadened it from only one R into three, making it not just Realistic but also Relevant and Research-based. ????????
