February 15th, 2019
Check out 2017 Rockin’ Recipient Marissa Erickson who worked all last month as a PA for upcoming film “The Orphan Train”!! ???? She was originally scheduled to come home at the end of January, but then filming was extended a week when they traveled from the Colorado set to Bonanza Creek Ranch, an all-inclusive film location in Santa Fe, NM, to finish filming!
This famous Western Ranch film set “where the Old West comes alive” is where “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,” “Wild Hogs” and a ton of other films have been shot!!
Marissa had the time of her life working on “The Orphan Train,” and her experience culminated in having another lil’ dream come true – she was cast as an extra in the film!! ???????? Just look how adorable Wardrobe made her!! ❤️❤️ When they shot her scene, she did so well that they used her AGAIN in another scene!!
Just check out the photos below – the first is of Marissa with Brian Presley, director of “The Orphan Train” (who also has a role in the film); the second is from the brochure about Bonanza Creek Ranch; the third is Marissa with the on-set medic Graham, who dubbed Marissa “everybody’s favorite PA” ???????????? – Marissa and Graham share a love of Hawaiian pizza, Chinese food and soaking in the area’s hot springs!! And the final pic is of Marissa working as an extra!!
