Grace Joy Reitz: Judson University – RISE (Lovrin Baxter Scholarship Award)

Grace is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Lovrin Baxter Scholarship Award. This fall, she begins her second year in the RISE program at Judson University, where she is studying Christian ministry. After she graduates, she wants to live independently and work in a ministry where she can encourage young adults and children in the Lord.

Grace loves reading, writing and public speaking, and wants to encourage others through her words. She has spoken with prospective RISE students and their families, and was able to assist with campus tours during which she shared insightful information about the school and its great community.

Grace is actively involved in her church, serving on the prayer team and in the young-adult Bible class. She has also participated in Special Olympics in basketball and track and field. She enjoys exploring new activities and meeting new people.
