Timmy Frazier

Timmy Frazier is heading into his second year at the University of Wyoming’s Connecting Pokes program this fall as this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Scholarship Award recipient, pursuing a Certificate of Career and Community Studies with graduation expected in Spring 2027.

Timmy holds a truly historic distinction: he was the very first post-secondary student in all of Wyoming. He lives in his own home, navigating daily life independently alongside college age roommates, and gets around town entirely on his own initiative. His goals for the future include finding work that reflects his passion for people and for UW, along with continuing to grow in independence, self-advocacy, and community engagement.

Timmy loves Segway riding, CrossFit, Bible study, and travel.

Timmy is a great friend who loves people well and fully engages with his community. Get ready for a fantastic second year, Timmy, you’re a Wyoming trailblazer!
