Lara Bruno

Lara Bruno is beginning her freshman year at Clemson University’s ClemsonLIFE program this fall as this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Miles Bhatia Scholarship recipient, focusing on life skills and meaningful employment training with graduation expected in Spring 2030.

Getting accepted into ClemsonLIFE is an accomplishment Lara is quietly proud of, and she prepared for the opportunity by spending most of last summer away at a special needs camp, an experience that helped her build real independence and confidence. Her goal now is to work in hospitality.

Lara loves dancing in her dance group for people with Down syndrome and cheering for her high school team.
