Raquel Caramello: University of South Florida –UMATTER Program (Hudson Hope Scholarship Award)

Raquel Caramello is this year’s recipient of THE Hudson Hope Scholarship Award. She is entering her second year at the University of South Florida UMATTER program, where she is focusing her studies on business and art. Raquel has big dreams of growing her own business and hopes to expand her talents into fashion design, adding it to her passion for jewelry making.

One of Raquel’s proudest accomplishments has been living independently in the dorms, an experience that has helped her grow in confidence and independence. On campus, she stays active and connected by participating in the Dance Club at USF. Outside of school, one of her favorite hobbies is equestrian riding.
