Paige Ditzel: Syracuse University — InclusiveU Program (Tessa McCormick Scholarship Award)
2025

Paige is excited to begin her freshman year at Syracuse University in the InclusiveU program, where she plans to explore classes in psychology, sports management, and music. She is looking forward to living on campus, gaining independence, and meeting new friends. With two brothers who have experienced college life, Paige was determined to follow in their footsteps.
She is an accomplished athlete, recently earning a silver medal in alpine skiing at the 2025 Special Olympic World Games in Torino, Italy. Her hobbies include skiing, singing, music, Special Olympics, basketball, and spending time with friends.
Paige’s journey to Syracuse has been filled with dedication and hard work. After graduating from Fairport High School, she completed the TOURS transition program at the University of Rochester for two years and most recently participated in Project Search at Wegmans. We are so proud to celebrate Paige as this year’s Tessa McCormick Scholarship winner and can’t wait to see all she will accomplish over the next four years.
Way to go, Paige!
