Lillian Bridgeman: Missouri State University — Bear POWER (Sully Drake Family and Friends Scholarship Award)

Lillian has always dreamed of going to college, and this fall she will start her freshman year at Missouri State University in the Bear POWER program, where she will study business. She’s excited to keep building her skills with a goal of working full time at Hy-Vee grocery store or even owning her own business one day.

No stranger to hard work, Lillian is proud of her job at Hy-Vee and the dedication it takes to balance work, school, and her many activities. She is in the National Honor Society, has been a camper and role model at Camp Barnabas for five years, and served on her school’s yearbook staff. A gifted photographer and talented musician, she plays both the ukulele and piano.

Lillian loves to travel with her family, play pickleball and volleyball, and she is proud to be scuba certified which is an achievement she worked hard for. She also enjoys skiing, took two years of Spanish in high school, and is currently studying to pass her driver’s permit test.

We are so excited to cheer Lillian on as she begins her college journey and works toward her dreams at MSU!
