Katherine Anderson: Kent State University —Career and Community Studies Program (Dress Up for Down Syndrome Scholarship Award)

Katherine is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and is entering her sophomore year at Kent State University in the Career and Community Studies Program, where she is focusing on education. She has loved dorm life and making new friends on campus, and she is especially proud of learning to navigate the Kent State campus independently. 

Katherine enjoys swimming, reading, and spending time with friends. This year, she’s excited to continue her classes and share a dorm room with one of her friends. Her biggest goal for the future is to live independently, and she is already working hard toward that dream. 

We’re so proud of Katherine and can’t wait to cheer her on as she continues to grow, gain independence, and chase her goals!
