2025
Julia is starting her second year at St. Michael’s School — Exploration Academy, where she is focusing on career exploration with a special interest in the film industry. Her goals after college are to work in the film business making movies and shows, live independently, and enjoy a happy life filled with time with friends.
An active leader and advocate in her community, Julia serves as a self-advocate board member for the Down Syndrome Association of Greater New Orleans, is an ambassador for GiGi’s Playhouse New Orleans, and is part of the GiGi’s comedy improv group. She was also the keynote speaker for the GiGi’s Playhouse New Orleans annual gala, a role she is incredibly proud of.
Julia stays busy during the school year as a teacher’s assistant in elementary-level classes and has volunteered at Manning Family Children’s Hospital, Lambeth House Senior Living, Louisiana Children’s Museum, and the Bright School.
In her free time, Julia enjoys art journaling, filmmaking, karate, playing the flute, and cooking. She is excited to keep building her skills, chasing her dream career in film, and preparing for an independent and joy-filled future.
Keep rockin’ it, Julia!
