Jessica Giddens: Clemson University — ClemsonLIFE (PCSI Scholarship Award)

“I’m Jessica and I am this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow PCSI Scholarship Award Recipient. I am 31 years old, and I live in Clemson, South Carolina. I participated and finished 4 yrs with the ClemsonLIFE program, and I graduated in 2024 and I am currently an alumni.

This year I was accepted into Hospitality Certificate Program (HCP) at Clemson where I will study for 2 yrs all about the hotel & restaurant business. It will help me in my job at The Shepherd Hotel (Delish Sister’s Restaurant).

I can’t wait to start college again in August. I am looking forward to having a schedule again, being with my peers, being active in my sorority and social activities and learning a lot with new teachers.

In my free time, I like to dance, exercise, read, nap, do my chores, write scripts and make TikTok’s. I also love when I get to go have a sleepover at my parent’s house…we cook together and play games.

My short-term goals are to complete the HCP program and graduate while having my job at The Shepherd Hotel Delish Sister’s Restaurant.

My long-term goals are having a career in film making, being an author along with finding love and fulfilling my dream of living in Los Angeles, California.

I am beyond grateful to be a 4 yr Rockin’ recipient thank you Ruby you’re the best…I can’t wait to see my future!
