Grace Lombardo: CT State Norwalk — College Steps Program (Fitzgerald Family Scholarship Award)

Grace Lombardo is this year’s recipient of the Fitzgerald Family Scholarship Award and is starting her first year in the College Steps program at CT State Norwalk. She plans to explore a wide range of interests including early education, American Sign Language, art, theater, and marketing.

Grace has big dreams for the future! She hopes to become a sign language teacher for kindergarteners, open her own ice cream business, and even become a voice actor one day. Her creativity, passion for performance, and love for helping others make all of these goals feel well within reach.

Throughout high school, Grace was a proud and dedicated member of her school’s unified cheerleading team, competing for four years. She also enjoys dancing, singing, musical theater, and spending time with her friends.

Grace has five older brothers and a sweet dog named Cici. This fall, she’s excited to follow in her brothers’ footsteps by heading off to college. Her family and friends couldn’t be more proud of her and everything she’s already accomplished.
