Emily Phipps: Missouri State University — Bear POWER (Kim Holt Scholarship Award)

Emily Phipps is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Kim Holt Scholarship Award. Emily is entering her sophomore year at Missouri State University – Bear POWER, where she is exploring career paths in hospitality or child care.
Emily recently completed her first off-campus internship, using rideshare services independently and managing her responsibilities like a pro, including submitting her receipts to the program director.
Outside of class, Emily loves to socialize, especially with her church groups, and she’s excited to continue growing in her second year. Her future goals include living in her own apartment and having a job she loves.
