Elizabeth Jones: Western Carolina University (Sailor Tracey Scholarship Award)

Elizabeth Jones is this year’s recipient of the Sailor Tracey Scholarship Award! Elizabeth is starting her first year at Western Carolina University, where she plans to study healthcare as she pursues a career in the medical field. 

Elizabeth is proud of hiking 77 miles of the Camino de Santiago in Spain over six days, recently completing the swim portion of a sprint triathlon relay, and earning her CPR/AED certification. She is full of energy and so excited to go to college and learn new skills to prepare for her future goals of getting a job in healthcare and living independently.

In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys swimming, kickboxing, traveling the world, watching Formula 1 racing, and hanging out with friends. She brings a lot of love and enthusiasm wherever she goes and will be a wonderful representative of the Ruby’s Rainbow scholarship program.
