Claire Lanham: Western Kentucky University SAV-Y Program (Wynter Dyrdahl Scholarship Award)

Claire Lanham is this year’s recipient of a Ruby’s Rainbow Wynter Dyrdahl Scholarship Award! Claire is beginning her freshman year at Western Kentucky University through the SAV-Y Program. While her academic focus is still being explored, Claire is dedicated to growing her independence and finding a career she loves.

Claire has big dreams for her time at WKU and one of her top goals is to become a WKU cheerleader and get fully involved in campus life. She’s eager to make new friends and dive into all that college has to offer.

A four-year Varsity Cheerleader in high school, Claire has also shined as a Special Olympics gymnast, regularly competing at the state level in Kentucky. She has a passion for cheerleading, listening to music, wake surfing, and hunting down murals in new places for the perfect photo.
