Allie Simmons: Mississippi State University ACCESS Program (Warriors For Walt Scholarship Award)

Allie Simmons is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Warriors For Walt Scholarship Award! This fall, she will begin her junior year at Mississippi State University ACCESS, where she is studying hospitality.
Allie is a proud member of Zeta Tau Alpha (ZTA) and absolutely adores her sorority sisters. One of her proudest accomplishments was going through formal recruitment and receiving a bid from ZTA. She loves attending date parties, enjoying meals at the sorority house, and participating in ZTA’s breast cancer research philanthropy. Allie was honored with the “Positive Polly” Certificate of Achievement Award for her kindness, upbeat spirit, and can-do attitude.
She enjoys going out to dinner with friends, playing board games, solving puzzles, making art, watching YouTube, and playing softball. Allie loves her family and is very big on celebrating holiday traditions. She looks up to her younger brother Brant, who is also in college and is her hero. She’s also active in her church community in Starkville, Mississippi.
On top of all this, Allie has proudly maintained a 4.0 GPA during her time in the ACCESS program.
