Abdelmeguid Aboushanab: Syracuse University – InclusiveU (Kate Wiedefeld Scholarship Award)

Abdelmeguid Aboushanab is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Kate Wiedefeld Scholarship Award! This fall, he will begin his freshman year at Syracuse University – InclusiveU, where he plans to study Exercise Science. 

Abdelmeguid is incredibly proud to be receiving his diploma and taking this big step toward his future. His goals include traveling the world and living independently in his own apartment. He is passionate about music, dancing, karate, and spending time with his family, and he loves discovering new places through travel.

Those who know Abdelmeguid describe him as one of the kindest and most caring people you’ll ever meet. He loves connecting with others and has a heart for making the world a better place. With his compassion, drive, and joyful spirit, Abdelmeguid is sure to make a lasting impact wherever he goes.
