Spencer Neill: Western Carolina University – UP

Spencer is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Troy Drake Scholarship Award. This fall, he begins his sophomore year in the UP (University Participant) program at Western Carolina University, where he is studying sports management. His future plans include living independently, most likely in a planned community that his family is currently developing for people with intellectual disabilities so they can live together and work in the community.

In his free time, Spencer enjoys making half-court shots, working out, cooking and hanging out with friends. He is proud of himself for graduating from high school and being accepted into the UP program.
