Parker Libolt: University of Iowa – REACH

Parker is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Addison Remy Scholarship Award. This fall, he begins his sophomore year in the REACH program at the University of Iowa. He is looking forward to his fall internship and is hoping to be assigned to something in the field of sports or recreation. His future goals include having a sports-related job and living with a roommate.

A true sports fan, Parker is a huge Hawkeyes, Cubs, Lakers and Chiefs fan. He enjoys going out with his friends—especially if ice cream is involved—and is proud that he has learned to navigate a Big-10 campus on his own, walking and utilizing the bus system. He attends any and every sporting event that he can, and he especially loved attending Hawkeye football and Iowa women’s basketball games last year. He also enjoyed his technology and internship prep classes.
