Neva Bassett: University of South Carolina Aiken – Pacer LIFE

Neva is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Buff Family Scholarship Award. This fall, she begins her second year in the two-year Pacer LIFE program at the University of South Carolina Aiken, where she is studying vocational rehabilitation and life skills. After she graduates, she plans to work at a plant nursery and volunteer at her church temple.
In her free time, Neva enjoys reading, exercising, playing basketball and soccer, and taking much-deserved naps. This summer, between college semesters, she spent her time working out, training as a boxer and studying her scriptures.
