Gretchen Garrett: Oklahoma State University – Opportunity Orange Scholars 

Gretchen is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Jude’s Village Scholarship Award. This fall, she begins her sophomore year in the Opportunity Orange Scholars program at Oklahoma State University, where she is studying education. Next summer, she will work with children in an internship at a local elementary school close to campus. Her future plans include living independently and finding fulfilling employment.

Gretchen loves hanging out with friends, making Starbucks runs and Tik Tok videos, and all things OSU. At the start of her freshman year, she went through formal recruitment and pledged Alpha Omicron Pi. She also represented Oklahoma State along with other OSU students and faculty at the capitol for Capitol Cowboys Day.
