Brooke Widmer: Ohio State University – TOPS

Brooke is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient. This fall, she begins her junior year in the TOPS program at the Ohio State University, where she is studying to become an assistant in a gym or a physical therapy office. After she graduates, she hopes to find a job she enjoys that offers career advancement opportunities.

Brooke has successfully lived independently on campus, where she walks to class or schedules college transit to pick her up if it’s too far to walk. She is proud of herself for managing her own schedule, classes and laundry by herself. She has interned at the campus gym all year. She has participated in multiple community service days, and has been taking online Microsoft Office classes this summer.
