Ben Nader: Auburn University – EAGLES

Ben is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Joseph Zucco Scholarship Award. This fall, he begins his first year in the EAGLES program at Auburn University, where he plans to study independent living skills.

Ben loves working out and staying physically fit with his friends. He also loves his job working with camp-aged children. His hobbies include woodworking, listening to country music and doing puzzles. A highlight of any week would be going out for a big cheeseburger!

Ben is very proud of his high school work with the football team and getting accepted into Auburn University. He has always advocated for inclusion for himself and others, and is proud of the accomplishments in this area. He has been an altar server for six years and was honored with the title of Altar Server of the Year due to his commitment to the program. Those who know him describe him as a confident, outgoing young man who adjusts quickly to new environments.

After he graduates, he plans to live independently and find work that he enjoys.
