Anna Krahn: Bethel University – BUILD

Anna is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Maudie’s Scholarship Award. This fall, she begins her first year in the BUILD program at Bethel University, where she plans to study Human Services. She is looking forward to learning more about outer space in her astronomy class, and she hopes to work in the coffee shop on campus.

Anna is from a small town and is blazing trails by completing her high school’s transition program and going on to college. She loves dancing—especially at her Zumba class, hanging out with friends, riding her bike, writing in her journal and watching movies. She works in a hotel restaurant and is proud to be a great employee!

After she graduates from Bethel, she plans to live as independently as possible and find a job she loves, possibly in a coffee shop.
