Martha Haythorn – Georgia Institute of Technology EXCEL (Reynolds Family Scholarship Award)

Martha is a four-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Reynolds Family Scholarship Award. This fall she begins her senior year in the EXCEL program at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she is studying public policy and advocacy. After she graduates, she plans to work for an organization that advocates for individuals with disabilities. Her next dream is to work as a disability advocate in Washington, DC.

Martha’s hobbies include going to see musicals and hanging out with friends at school. She is very proud to live independently in an apartment on campus and to take time for self-reflection. She loves learning about herself, others and the world around her. Her determination has helped her achieve her dream of attending college and developing the skills she needs to live and work in her community.
