Markus Lanier – University of Oklahoma Sooner Works (Lees Family Scholarship Award)

Markus is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Lees Family Scholarship Award. This fall he is very excited to begin his sophomore year in the Sooner Works program at the University of Oklahoma, where he is studying media production and finance. He is looking forward to all that he will learn and experience this year in college. Someday he plans to have his own film business, and wants to work behind the scenes. He is also interested in working in the sports industry.

Markus’s hobbies include traveling, making videos and learning new things. He is very proud to live on his own and take charge of his goals by working hard and meeting them one by one.
