Kyra Edwards – UCLA Extension Pathway (Our Future Is Bright: The Audrey and Jeremy Scholarship Award)

Kyra is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Our Future Is Bright: The Audrey and Jeremy Scholarship Award. This fall she begins her sophomore year in the Pathway program at UCLA Extension, where she is pursuing general studies along with independent living. She says her goals are “to live in an apartment, have a job and husband, and have my dream pet.”

Kyra’s hobbies include playing basketball and staying active. She is very proud of being able to shop for groceries on her own. She says, “I am proud of my hard work and good grades. I am learning to be independent and live in my own apartment.”
