Kami Swanson – AbleLight College of Applied Learning at Concordia University Wisconsin (Miles and Henry Sedam Scholarship Award)

Kami is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Miles and Henry Sedam Scholarship Award. This fall she begins her freshman year at AbleLight College of Applied Learning at Concordia University Wisconsin, where she plans to study life skills. She is very excited to be a college student like her sister, Abi. She is looking forward to learning to help herself more and gaining independent living and employment skills.

Kami has a huge heart and a beautiful smile, and she loves all things Disney. She loves swimming and calling herself a mermaid. She also enjoys dancing and riding her bike. She is very proud to have recently reached a longtime goal—being able to stay home by herself for periods of time.
