Jill Wright – Bellarmine University College Connections (Laura Jean Elizabeth Lee Scholarship Award)

Jill is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Laura Jean Elizabeth Lee Scholarship Award. This fall she begins her second year in the College Connections program at Bellarmine University, where she is studying acting, photography and graphic arts. Her post-graduation goals include broadening her acting and modeling opportunities and starting a photography business.
Jill’s hobbies include acting, dancing, modeling, public speaking, and using her American Sign Language (ASL) skills. An avid volunteer, one of her favorite volunteer activities is to sign the National Anthem in ASL for military events. She also loves sharing her experiences as an individual with Down syndrome with many different groups, and she rocks it! She is very proud to have been named Citizen of the Year in 2020 by Down Syndrome of Louisville.
