Cooper Long – University of Alabama CrossingPoints (Maudie’s Scholarship Award)

Cooper is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Maudie’s Scholarship Award. This fall he begins his freshman year in the CrossingPoints program at the University of Alabama, where he plans to study exercise science and physical education. After he graduates, he plans to get a great job and travel frequently.

Cooper is a proud graduate of Fairhope High School in south Alabama. He lives with his favorite person, his Uncle Mike, and loves WWE wrestling, working out and listing to music. He is very proud that he frequently flies unaccompanied to Los Angeles to visit his brother, Justin, and his three nieces, June, Rose and Bea, who all adore him. Cooper is also very proud to have overcome his obstacles with eating solid foods.
