Andrew Gardiner – Valencia College (Go Nash Go Scholarship Award)

Andrew is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Go Nash Go Scholarship Award. This fall he begins his second year at Valencia College, where he is pursuing his Associate’s degree in General Studies. This past year at Valencia, he made the Dean’s List. He plans to transfer to the University of Florida.

Andrew volunteers at iCan! Bike Camp, where he helps people learn to ride two-wheeled bicycles, and in Vacation Bible School at his church, where he is also an altar server. His hobbies include playing basketball, hanging out with friends and attending Orlando Magic games. He is very proud to have earned his driver’s license several years ago; he drives himself to his classes at Valencia, and also helps out his family by taking his sisters to and from school.
