Tessa Bailey – Macomb Community College (Natters Matters Scholarship Award)

Tessa is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Natters Matters Scholarship Award. She is a sophomore at Macomb Community College, where she has already earned her prep chef certificate and is working toward her Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts. She worked a third season at Jimmy John’s Field, and hopes to run her own restaurant or food truck someday.

Tessa loves doing puzzles in her spare time, and also enjoys listening to music and dancing. She says, “I was very surprised and happy that I got the Ruby’s Rainbow Scholarship again this year. It was amazing meeting the Kloeckner family at Jimmy John’s Field. We enjoyed a fun night together. I even got applause from the grandstand when they gave me the award on the field. It was a very proud moment for my whole family. I can’t wait for another school year!”
