Taylor Freeman – Clemson University ClemsonLIFE (Frankenberger Scholarship Award)
2022
Taylor is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Frankenberger Scholarship Award. She is very excited to be a sophomore in the ClemsonLife program at Clemson University this fall, where she is active in the Equine program and loves working with her horse, Cierra.
In 2021, Taylor received the Self-Advocate Everyday Hero award from National Down Syndrome Congress, and the Self-Advocate Under 21 award from the Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta. She also interviewed independently with the Clemson band director to be the band manager, and is proud to say she got the job.
Taylor loves taking salsa dancing lessons, bowling, and attending Clemson football games with friends. She says, “I am so honored to receive another scholarship from Ruby’s Rainbow!!! I can’t wait to make more memories this year!”
We are so proud of you, Taylor! We can’t wait to see you keep on rockin’ it at Clemson!
