Nicholette Lee – University of Nevada, Las Vegas Project F.O.C.U.S. (Colton Vazquez Scholarship Award)

Nicholette, who also goes by Nikki, is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Colton Vazquez Scholarship Award. She is a Project F.O.C.U.S. student at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She loves to learn and be well-educated, and has numerous, varied interests including dancing, gymnastics and computer technology.

Nikki has Mosaic Down syndrome, and says, “In my opinion, I think everybody should get along with peace and love.” She describes herself as detail-oriented, self-disciplined, organized, neat, clean and punctual, as well as flexible, dependable, loyal and reliable.
