Gretchen Wahle – Texas A&M Aggie ACHIEVE (Laura Jean Elizabeth Lee Memorial Scholarship Award)

Gretchen is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Laura Jean Elizabeth Lee Memorial Scholarship Award. This fall, she will be a student in the Aggie ACHIEVE program at Texas A&M University.
Gretchen grew up in Napa, California, where she was the first person with Down syndrome to be fully included in her elementary and high school. She loves riding bikes, swimming, watching sports and hanging out with friends. She was recently named on the USA National Down Syndrome Swim Team and will be competing at the World Championships in Portugal in October.
