Ana Pacheco De Loera – University of Toledo T2 (Grace Eleanor Dunn Scholarship Award)

Ana is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Grace Eleanor Dunn Scholarship Award. This fall, she will be a T2 student at the University of Toledo. She was an honor roll student in high school and loved participating in school plays. She was a cast member in several productions and had leading roles in several one-act plays.

Ana is also a second-degree black belt in Taekwondo, and has the distinction of being the only member of Team USA with Down syndrome. She has competed internationally in Argentina for the World Championships as well as in New Zealand and Canada.

Ana’s dream is to become an actress someday. She says, “I’m going to rock that extra chromosome and show the world what we are capable of accomplishing.” We know you will, Ana—we can’t wait to watch you do it!
