Kendall Montgomery – Clemson University ClemsonLIFE (Laura Jean Elizabeth Lee Memorial Scholarship Award)

Kendall is a three-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Laura Jean Elizabeth Lee Memorial Scholarship Award. She attends the ClemsonLIFE program at Clemson University, where she will be starting her senior year this fall. Along with her studies, she holds two part-time jobs and is a member of the Tri Delta sorority. She has also been the assistant manager for the Clemson women’s rowing team for the past three years.

Her professors and mentors describe Kendall as a natural leader and “a true gem” who “brings joy and light to every room she enters.” Kendall says her time in ClemsonLIFE has been “a dream come true.” To other students with Down syndrome who are considering college, she says, “Anything is possible if you get the chance to try.”
