Josh Williams – Mississippi State University ACCESS
2021
Josh attends the ACCESS program at Mississippi State University, where he hopes to develop his math, science and computer skills as well as take cooking and Spanish courses. His goals include living independently, becoming a YouTuber, and singing and dancing to entertain people.
In high school, Josh received the Principal Award and IDEA Outstanding Achievement Award at the Senior Awards Day. He played on a Unified Basketball team for five years, earning his letterman’s jacket after his third year, and he hopes to play basketball in college as well. He loves being active in the Down syndrome community and speaking to classes and other groups about Down syndrome. He says, “It makes me feel good to help other people.”
We think you rock, Josh! We are so proud of you!
