Steven Kennedy – Barnabas Prep (Greg Cummings Group Scholarship Award)

Steven is this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Greg Cummings Group Scholarship Award recipient. He is excited to attend Barnabas Prep this fall, where he is looking forward to taking cooking classes and developing his independence. In high school, he played on the basketball team and was homecoming king his senior year. He works at a grocery store and loves working out. His goals are to live on his own with friends someday, and to work either at a restaurant or as an exercise coach.

Steven’s teachers and mentors describe him as someone who is kind and compassionate, with a vibrant personality, and who brings smiles to everyone he meets. He describes himself as awesome! We agree with you, Steven ­– we think you rock, and we are so proud of you!
