Rebekah Seipel – University of Missouri–Kansas City
2020
Rebekah is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient attending the University of Missouri–Kansas City’s Propel program. A member of Alpha Sigma Alpha, she is excited to live in the sorority house this fall and to be involved with the Panhellenic recruitment process. She enjoys attending UMKC sporting events, as well as watching Kansas City Royals and Chiefs games. She volunteers as a childcare assistant at a local daycare center. Her favorite class so far at UMKC has been Health Science, and her goal is to become a motivational speaker who inspires others to focus on their health and keep their bodies strong.
Rebekah is passionate about improving the world and her community through activities like voting, donating blood and doing volunteer work. This summer, she gave a speech about disabilities at a local pageant event, and she plans to continue her work as a self-advocate to support others with disabilities who are less able to speak for themselves. We are so proud of you, Rebekah! Keep on rockin’ it at UMKC!
