Kelsey Jordan – Ready for Life Academy at Calvin University (Bonfire BBQ Scholarship Award)

Kelsey is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Bonfire BBQ Scholarship Award recipient. This fall, she will be starting her second year in the Ready for Life Academy at Calvin University. She is looking forward to performing with Dance Guild and being a member of the Calvin Theater Company again. She is also excited to cheer on the volleyball and basketball teams, and had a lot of fun attending basketball and volleyball games this past year at Calvin.

Kelsey earned all As her first semester at Calvin, and is proud to be the first person with Down syndrome to have joined the Calvin Theater Company. She has made good friends through the group and has enjoyed acting as well as working on sets for their productions. She plans to take film classes this year, and hopes to be a director someday. We are so proud of you, Kelsey! Keep on rockin’ it this fall at Calvin!
