Elise McDaniel – University of Tennessee–Knoxville FUTURE Program (Clurman Family Scholarship Award)

Elise is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Clurman Family Scholarship Award recipient. She attends the FUTURE program at the University of Tennessee–Knoxville, where she is studying digital literacy, life skills, and career and life planning. She is a member of her campus’s Best Buddies group as well as the Student Government. In her free time, she loves singing, dancing, listening to music and watching movies and Broadway shows.

Last year, Elise was selected to present at the 2019 State of the Art conference about how students with disabilities can get involved with student groups on their campuses. She and three other students were the first four students to live in the dorm on campus as part of the FUTURE residential pilot program. She has also been selected to serve as Executive Officer for the Best Buddies Board next year. We think you rock, Elise! We are so proud of you!
