Cheryl Miller – Coastal Carolina University (Laura Jean Elizabeth Lee Memorial Scholarship Award)

Cheryl is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Laura Jean Elizabeth Lee Memorial Scholarship Award recipient. She attends Coastal Carolina University, where she is an active member of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority. She loves attending sporting and social events with her sorority sisters and The Rock church with friends to sing and worship together. She also loved portraying the White Queen in a play put on by her church’s youth group.

Cheryl has been challenging herself during her time at CCU, such as by undergoing training with the NCAA and subsequently passing the test to become an assistant to the women’s basketball coach. She also tried out for the CCU fashion show and practiced her runway skills for six weeks. She loved walking the runway for the show, and was invited to take part in the next fashion show event on campus. This summer, she is working on the grounds crew at her local water park for the second summer in a row. We think you rock, Cheryl – we are so proud of you!
