Amy Williamson – East Stroudsburg University CILLS Program (Isla Marie Korzon Scholarship Award)
2020
Amy is this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Isla Marie Korzon Scholarship Award recipient. She will attend the CILLS program at East Stroudsburg University this fall, where she plans to study photography and food prep, with the goal of becoming a freelance photographer in the food industry. Photography is one of her favorite hobbies. She is excited to develop her independence in college, and says she is looking forward to meeting other driven adults.
For years, Amy has been active in Special Olympics track & field and bowling. In high school, she was a sprinter in track & field and then served as an assistant coach to other sprinters. She was also involved with the marching band, the yearbook club and the stage crew for her school’s plays and concerts, and she volunteered at a senior living facility to help residents stay in shape and engage in social activities. Keep on rockin’ it in college this fall, Amy!
