Brandon Gruber – Diablo Valley College
2018
Brandon is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient who was awarded his first Ruby’s Rainbow scholarship in 2015. An accomplished actor, model, fashion designer and artist, he attended Cabrillo Community College in Santa Cruz, CA, for two years. He plans to transfer to either Diablo Valley College or CLE*** in Los Angeles.
Brandon serves on the Student Senate at CCC as well as on the equity team, “so we can be a more inclusive college.” He loves taking theater and dance classes; hip-hop dance was his favorite because he learned lots of new moves! He works at Billabong and is also pursuing his acting, and even had a role in a TV pilot.
